I can't sleep. It's nothing new, it happens all the time, and it is probably hormone related, at least that is what the doctors all say. I just can't fall asleep some nights.
Any chance that blogging might help with that? I don't know, but I know that sitting here and writing always makes me feel better. So even if it doesn't help me to sleep, at least it will get me to a somewhat happy place.
I now have a total of four blogs. This one for my general ramblings that have no purpose other than to be an outlet for myself. The others each have a specific purpose and reason for being and are special for that reason.
There is the book blog. Tammommy Blogs on Books.
This is where I write book reviews of the books that I am reading. I love to read, and love to write, so this has been a long standing blog that ties both my loves together. I also have a number of Google plus communities that I joined to promote the book blog. I would really like it to be seen and to get some feedback on it. It has been seen by a couple of the author's of the books in the last few posts, which is really exciting. I always enjoying hearing from an author when I review their book. So things are going well there, just hoping to keep that going and grow it even more.
There is the new music blog. Tammommy Blogs on Music.
This is where I post a country music video and blog a commentary about the song. It is not really a review of the song, but more of what the song makes me think of and what it means to me, sort of. I am enjoying writing it because I love music and I find that music is a huge part of life. It evokes emotions in all of us everyday, sometimes we are better at realizing it than at other times. Right now I am only posting once a week on this blog. I have two google plus communities that I promote this blog on. I also promote it on my twitter account.
The third blog is a business blog. Tammommy Blogs on Business.
This is where I post business related blog posts. I have my store at CafePress that turns my original artwork into items and I promote that store on this blog. I am also a JewelScent rep and promote that business on the blog. Then there is my Etsy store and I promote it as well on the business blog. As a stay at home mom, I have to do something to help pay for dance and show choir, so this business blog is what I do to try to make that happen.
Right now I just wonder what else I can do to get more traffic, and not just traffic, but people who will actually want to read the posts and be interested in them, to my blogs. How can I make them more popular and get them seen by the right people? I am not sure but that is what I am really trying to figure out, because I need to be doing what I can to help the family.
Of course, those are the things that go through your mind at 4am when you can't sleep! Guess I might just go ahead and read another book!

Books and Music
For the longest time now I have been reading and reviewing books. I love doing that and so I created my first blog just for that purpose. Then of course things got in the way and it became a mash, so last year I moved the book reviews to the new blog that it ONLY book reviews. I am loving it.
TAMMommy Blogs on Books
Of course just having my book blog wasn't enough, I needed a place to vent, to talk, to release my emotions and frustrations and so this little blog became my second blog to allow me to do that. I don't link this blog anywhere so most people don't know about it, it's just floating out there where I know I can write and feel better.
Lately I have really been wanting to venture out into talking about music, kinda like I do about books. I love music and there are a number of songs out there that have great messages that people just need to slow down, shut up and listen to. So the other day I went for it. I created a third blog for music. I only have one post there, but it is a great song, and I look forward to doing more.
TAMMommy Blogs on Music
Is it important? Probably not, will anyone read it? I hope so. Bu I know I wrote it and I hope that it gets out there to someone. Just like my book reviews, I just put them out there and hope they touch one person that makes a difference. That's all I can ask for in life. Right?!
Now, back to the job at hand....

My first real post on the rambling blog of my thoughts and emotions and all that jazz blog!!
One of the authors, and bloggers that I love to follow, +D.S. McKnight was nominated for the Liebster Award by +Tanya Searle. And as Tanya explains it: Of course I’d never heard of it, being the armature blogger that I am; but as far as I can tell it’s a fun, chain letter kind of award where I answer the questions she’s posed to me and in turn pose ten of my own to other bloggers.
So +D.S. McKnight nominated me to answer some questions for her, and you all out there, and I felt privileged to be asked and obligated to answer.
1. When it comes to movies - old black and white or color?
Mostly color, but there are a few great old black and whites that I love dearly!
2. Your favorite author?
IS this a trick question? How can I answer that? I have so many favorites in so many different genres.....Juliet Blackwell in cozy mysteries, Sherrilyn Kenyon in paranormal/fantasy3. Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate all the way!!4. If you could visit any time - past or future - when would you choose?
I have always had a fascination with England in the 1800's
5. Summer or winter?
Neither....Fall!! Football weather, falling leaves, bon fires that is what I live for!6. Favorite genre.
I will ready anything once~! I went through a cozy mystery phase, right now going through a paranormal phase, but I like to mix it up and read everything
7. If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would you choose?
The one person I would probably most want to talk with over dinner would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I would just love to listen to him in person and learn what he was like for real.
8. A genie offers you 3 wishes. What do you wish for?
Peace, Health and Happiness for my family and friends. Does that count?
9. Eat in or carry out?
Carry out...I'd rather be at home in my jammies!
10. Favorite fairy tale?
Not a fairy tale, but love to read Dr. Seuss books because of the hidden meanings in them and force my kids to find them and talk about them!
